Heavy Trailers, Built in Namakkal Since 1980
Four-and-a-half decades of trailer craftsmanship, founded on a simple promise: build it right, build it once.

Founded by P. Thangavelu in 1980.
Namakkal Trailers was set up in 1980 at Nallipalayam, Namakkal District, Tamil Nadu, by P. Thangavelu. Starting with a small fabrication shed and a single welding bay, the company has grown into one of the most recognised trailer brands in South India — while never losing the family-workshop attention to detail that built its reputation.
Today the workshop produces seven distinct trailer platforms — High Bed, Skeleton, Side Door, Semi Low Bed, Running Gear, Low Bed and Tower Model — each iCAT certified and each built by craftspeople who have spent careers on the same shop floor.
Our promise is simple: a trailer that earns its keep on the road, every road, for years.
